We target WCAG 2.2 AA conformance for key user journeys across web, PWA, and related content.

Conformance Target

FreeDrawColour is designed to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, including keyboard navigation, focus visibility, touch target size, reduced motion support, and high-contrast readability defaults.

Accessibility Features

  • Visible focus styling and focus-not-obscured behavior.
  • Minimum 44x44 touch targets for interactive controls.
  • Single accessibility-first UI with readable type scale and predictable spacing.
  • Keyboard alternatives for drag interactions in layer controls.
  • Live status messages for important canvas actions.

Testing Approach

We combine manual checks with automated audits (including axe-core) in CI to detect and resolve regressions.
